Oyster tasting

Vilsund Muslinge Industri sponsored on Thursday the 25th of November a free give away of the delicious oysters from the Limfjord in Nyhavn Copenhagen and in Nykøbing on the island of Mors. These oysters are widely known as the world´s best oysters, which is due to more mineral and less salty taste. One of the places where you can be guaranteed these oysters is at the world´s best restaurant "Noma" in Copenhagen. This tasting of oysters was an event in both Nykøbing Mors and Nyhavn in Copenhagen staged by the municipality of Morsø in cooperation with Vilsund Muslinge Industri in order to enhance the knowledge of mussels and oysters among the Danish consumers. The event was started by the mayor of Morsø Municipality, Lauge Larsen, who gave the Royal Court a portion of oysters Thursday afternoon. Right after this the tasting of oysters was started in Nyhavn and home on the island of Mors.
