Vilsund Blue A/S was established in 1986 on an ambition to produce IQF cooked and peeled mussel meat. In 2010 Vilsund Blue Delicacies A/S (the former Limfjord Company) was acquired. The company has grown to become one of the largest producers of high-quality mussel meat in Europe. Our core competence is still Blue shell mussels, but we also supply other seafood products (oysters, cockles, crabs) from the danish waters, especially the Limfjord.

Our 4 factories based in Denmark are: - Cleaning plant in Nykobing - Cooking plant for IQF mussels in Nykobing - Mussel Preserve plant in Nykobing and Plant for live mussels and oysters in Logstor.
